FAQ

Can I join the camp if I am not playing beach volleyball?

Yes, of course. Our camps are suited for all levels and all ages. Read here for more info.

I want to join the camp, but I don't want to take part in the training. Can I do that?

Yes, that's possible at all of our camps.

Do I need a partner?

No, you don't need a partner. You may travel alone, with a friend or with a lot of friends. You may also bring your family.

Can I book 1 week only?

You may book exact dates, but we prefer that you stick to our suggested packages. This may vary for different camps. Some guests travel for 2-3 weeks. Anything is possible.

Do I have access to beach volleyballcourts outside the scheduled training sessions?

Yes. Most of our camps offer free access to training courts whenever you want. We also offer private sessions with private coaches, and usually tournaments for all levels.

How many players on each court during training sessions?

Depending on the level of the players, we usually stick to a program with maximum 6 players in one court during training sessions.

Are the training sessions leveled?

We always try to keep the level of the athletes in a group as equal as possible.

How is a typical day at the camp?

Most camps offers training sessions between 9 a.m. and 1 p.m. The afternoons offers free play or tournaments. In the evening there will often be social activities where you may hang out with old and new friends. We also organize activities outside the beach such as hiking, shopping, dining and local excursions. You will also have plenty of time for swimming, sunbathing or just chilling on the beach and enjoy life.

What do I need to bring to the camp?

No equipment are needed. The organisers bring og set up everything prior to your arrival. However, you will need to wear comfortable and practical outfits for training, as well as we suggest to bring a beach towel. Most people train/play in tights or shorts, with a t-shirt, singlet or gym top. If cold weather (Norwegian summers may be a bit unpredictable :) some people play in socks and college sweaters. Make sure to bring a few pairs of socks! Apart from this you will need your normal travel bag with clothes suited the destination, the weather forecast and your other activities such as excursions, swimming, reading etc.

Do I have to participate in the additional tournaments?

You're not obligated to participate. However, our experience is that some players feel that they are not good enough to play in the tournaments - which is not the case. Most of our tournaments keep a social focus. They are fun and we can guarantee that you will enjoy playing no matter if you have a partner or not.
