Play under the Midnight Sun at iconic Haukland Beach in Lofoten!
You may have experienced exotic beaches all around the world, but this is something completely different! A short 10 minute drive from the small city Leknes you will find Haukland Beach, situated in the most amazing scenery north of the polar circle. Pristine white sand and crystal clear waters surrounded by some of the most scenic alps of the northern Norway. Voted the most beautiful beach in Europe, Haukland Beach is definitely one of the world's most unique beach destinations in the World.
Since our first visit here in 2017, this camp has evolved into a favourite destination for more and more lovers of the beach, as they combine playing beach volleyball with a unique summer holiday. We welcome participants from all over the world of all age groups and skills.
Camp Programme 2026
The camp includes 3 days of 6 training sessions from top coaches led by former Norwegian Olympians Vegard Høidalen and Jørre Kjemperud, including a camp pass to our beach activities like spike ball, corn hole, frisbee golf and more. The training sessions run mornings and evenings. You may choose to join us for all 6 training sessions or evening/morning sessions only. Nets and beach activities will be available for participants every day. Spend the rest of your day joining friends on excursions, go for a swim, lay on the beach. In other words, just follow your own path.

All camp packages include a beach pass with access to courts and balls, fruit and 1 liter of water daily as well as beach activities hosted by us during the entire camp like spike ball, corn holde, slack line, frisbee golf, stand up paddle board etc. In addition there is access to shower in Leknes every evening.

Tournaments Pre- & Post Camp
3 days of camp
10 days of Beach volleyball
Together with the local volleyball clubs Lofotvolley and Bodø volley, we expand our stay in the North of Norway for a total of 10 days including social and professional tournaments. If you want to play more beach volleyball, the camp is hosted between the national tour stop in the beautiful nature of Bodø, and the national tour stop at Haukland, with additional tournaments for all levels. Combine your training camp with some great match practise and maybe even some well deserved ranking points.
ACCOMMODATION
Accommodation needs to be booked separately. We are offering to stay in a school about ten minutes drive from the beach, Leknes skole. It will be a fee of 200 NOK for per night to stay at the school, and you will need to bring your own sleeping gear (mattress, sheets or sleeping bag etc).
Some players are staying at the beach tenting or in RV's. AirBnb or similar search engines are also a good place to check for accommodation.

BARBECUE ON THE BEACH
Between 20:00 - 22:00 there will be a barbecue set up every night on the following dates: Tue 28. - Thu 30. July 2026 on the beach for all participants to use. Bring your own food.

FOOD AND WATER AT THE BEACH
We are offering water, drinks and meals like local fish burgers during the day from a temporary kiosk. There is also a brand new service building at site that offers food, water, toilets and showers. Check out hauklandbeach.no for more information.​​​​​

VISIT LOFOTEN THIS SUMMER

We absolutely recommend to extend your stay in Lofoten. Arrive early or stay a few extra days and take your time discovering one of Norways most iconic island groups. Lofoten offers extraordinary hiking opportunities. Enter the mountains directly from the seaside and reach the most amazing views in the astonishing scenery of Lofoten within short walking distance.

Apart from hiking, Lofoten offer a wide range of activities. Some of the most popular things to do are:

- Surfing
- SUP (stand up paddle)
- Kiting
- RIB and boat trips
- Fishing
- Bouldering
- Climbing
​
We will advice you to have access to a car either by yourself or through friends. The opportunities within a couple of hours of driving is endless. If you need advice on where to go, and how to get there, we will always be ready and do our best to help.

Short, but steep hike to the most photographed view of Haukland Beach. A "must-do" for all visitors.

7,6 kilometers (out-and-back)
930 m elevation
4-6 hours
A less populated hike, situated behind the beach with a beautiful view over the area.

Holandsmælen:
4,2 kilometers
430 m elevation
1-2,5 hours
Situated on the other side of Vik beach. Reachable from Haukland, but this distance is from Vik.

Uttakleiv Beach:
4 km (one way)
no elevation
1 hour one way
Gorgeous coastal walk to the beach "next door".

Getting there
​Book your own flight directly to Leknes (10 minute drive from Haukland Beach) or to Bodø, where you may hire a car and take the ferry (approx 3 hours drive) from Bodø to Moskenes. The drive from Moskenes to Haukland Beach takes about 90 minutes, in the most amazing scenery of Norwegian nature. From Bodø airport to the harbour you can actually walk even if we would recommend taxi or bus.

If you don't hire a car the local organiser may help you to get from Moskenes to the Haukland Beach.
